Good news—The GM T87A TCM no longer requires an upgrade! Users can now simply license and tune their T87A TCM without any upgrade. Normal vehicle licensing still required. Please only purchase this if you specifically need a brand-new GM T87A TCM for your vehicle.

Ready to tune your GM vehicles’ transmission with HP Tuners? We are pleased to offer custom tuning support for the GM T87A TCM found in 2017+ GM vehicles with the 8-speed or 10-speed transmission as well as 2015-2019 GM vehicles with the 6-speed transmission.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, we now offer FREE direct OBDII upgrades for the GM T87A TCM. This means you can license and tune your TCM like normal in VCM Suite software with no dedicated upgrade service. Please only purchase this if you specifically need a brand new, already upgraded TCM.

New Upgraded TCM Purchase
This option is the purchase of a brand new, already upgraded TCM for your GM vehicle. Your new TCM will already be upgraded for tuning and programmed to the VIN you add during checkout (please double-check your VIN for accuracy to avoid delays).
⚠️ Once you receive your new TCM, install it in your vehicle and follow the Replace T87A TCM Instructions. Then, license the controller and start tuning!

- Purchase your new T87A TCM for your vehicle if you specifically need a new TCM.
- Download the latest version of VCM Suite BETA for free here.
- Once upgraded, purchase (4) Credits to license your T87A TCM/vehicle.
- Compatible with all generations of MPVI devices.
- Purchase a new MPVI4.
Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of this new TCM purchase. Credits must be purchased separately.
