Sales Manager

HP Tuners is seeking an experienced, self-motivated sales and business development professional for a Sales Manager position. This sales management professional will be responsible for B2B account prospecting, account creation and growth in the US Import vehicle and International category.

To be successful, you must be a self-starter that, given directives, can autonomously devise and execute a growth plan, as well as carefully monitor and organize customer feedback to continuously hone our approach with customers.

Primarily a B2B position, this position will have limited exposure to retail customers and will be focused on building and maintaining a specific sales channel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential Warehouse Distributors and Tuner shops
  • Assist with managing and disseminating sales data such as ACES and PIES data to the marketplace
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of customer
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
  • Submits and aids in the processing of orders
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly sales analyses
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments and marketplace opportunities
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating concerns; developing solutions; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company product portfolio and competing products
  • Travel to prospective and existing customers, establishing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Create enthusiasm among prospects by displaying the value in HP Tuners products
  • Develop, improve, and perform on-site and virtual customer product demonstrations
  • Attend and work assigned trade shows, races, and other promotional events
