HP Tuners is the publisher and owner of all rights, titles, and interests in and to its proprietary suite of software and related products known as VCM Suite. Likewise, HP Tuners owns all rights, titles, and interests in and to its proprietary products including but not limited to the VCM Editor.
Hacking, disseminating, releasing, selling, using, and/or accessing “cracked” or fraudulent versions of HP Tuners software and/or products and/or fraudulent application keys which bypass the HP Tuners Licensing System is a copyright violation and is illegal.
In the United States and many other countries, copyright law provides for severe civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted material. Copyrighted material includes, but is not limited to, computer programs and software. Under U.S. law, infringement may result in civil damages of up to $150,000 and/or criminal penalties of up to five years imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine.

HP Tuners may, but is not obligated to, monitor or review any areas on the Website where users transmit or post communications or communicate solely with each other. HP Tuners, however, will have no liability related to the content of any such communications, whether or not arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, obscenity, or otherwise. HP Tuners designs and manufactures software and hardware tools for vehicle diagnostics, scanning, logging, calibration, and data acquisition purposes. The authorized use of such tools is to bring a motor vehicle into emissions compliance and/or to maintain emissions compliance, as well as for use on documented competition/racing applications and other exempted vehicles. HP Tuners does not create or provide tunes or pre-made calibrations.
HP Tuners’ Terms of Use, policies, and agreements mandate that users shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws. In using HP Tuners software and hardware tools, you are representing, warranting, and agreeing not to use, employ or allow any HP Tuners tools to operate as a defeat device or to violate emissions compliance in any manner whatsoever. You further represent warrant and agree that the HP Tuners tools shall only be used by manufacturers, calibration businesses, and professionals to develop emissions-compliant and/or exempted calibrations. Misuse of HP Tuners’ products and software will void the product warranty.
