HP Tuners Adds Tuning Support for GM’s E90 ECM (Global B)

New GM 1500 trucks and family SUVs are now supported in VCM Suite with MPVI3

BUFFALO GROVE, IL, August 15th, 2023—HP Tuners continues to redefine the impossible by offering the industry’s first comprehensive diagnostics and calibration solution for GM’s “Global B” E90 ECM with their VCM Suite software and MPVI3 device. This controller is found in 2022.5-2023 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 trucks and 2021-2023 GM family SUVs like the GMC Yukon/XL, Cadillac Escalade, and Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, all powered by the 5.3L or 6.2L V8 gas engines. Additionally, HP Tuners’ existing GM T93 TCM support covers select vehicles with this newly supported E90 ECM, providing professional tuners with a complete ECM and TCM tuning package.

Due to the complexities of GM’s new E90 ECM, all controllers require HP Tuners’ one-time, send-in ECM upgrade service. This service enables their full VCM Suite software to data log, scan, read, edit, and write to their vehicle conveniently via its OBDII port using an MPVI3 device. Parameters within air, fuel, spark, torque management, and more will be accessible to build customized, safe, and compliant calibrations. However, at launch, all GM Global B upgrade services are limited to select authorized resellers.
