HP Tuners Now Offers MPVI3 Interface Upgrades

Users can now upgrade any previous generation interface to the MPVI3 and get additional credits.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL, March 1st, 2023 — HP Tuners today announced their new MPVI3 Interface Upgrade option available for any previous generation OBDII interface. In addition to receiving the newest MPVI3 device for automotive diagnostics and calibration, HP Tuners is including additional Universal Credits based on the trade-in device generation. This upgrade process transfers all existing vehicle licenses and credits from a customer’s trade-in device to their new MPVI3 allowing users to resume normal operation immediately out of the return package.

HP Tuners’ new Interface Upgrade option includes additional credits depending on the generation of the customer’s trade-in OBDII device. Device eligibility is as follows:

• (6) Universal Credits for MPVI trade-ins (Standard or Pro)
• (4) Universal Credits for MPVI2/2+ trade-ins

The process for interface upgrades is straightforward and convenient to minimize downtime for customers. After purchasing the service on HP Tuners’ website, customers should resync their trade-in device in VCM Editor, the control module editing software, and ship the device to HP Tuners’ headquarters—service and return shipping times take at least 3 business days.

The trade-in device will first be tested for functionality and then begin the license and credit transfer to the new MPVI3 device. Upgraded devices will be preloaded with additional credits depending on their eligibility as described previously. Upon return, users can resume normal diagnostics and calibration use via VCM Suite software. The retail price for the interface upgrade including the additional credits is $399.99. The upgrade can also be initiated via a customer’s “My Account” page.
