HP Tuners Adds Custom Tuning & Diagnostics Support for 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra
Published on: July 16, 2026Categories: New Vehicle Support, Press Releases
HP Tuners is proud to announce support for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra platform, bringing custom tuning & diagnostics capabilities to one of the most popular modern truck platforms on the road today.
Using MPVI4, the new Toyota Smart Access Cable, and VCM Suite software, drivers and tuners can now scan, data log, diagnose, and calibrate supported Toyota Tundra applications directly through the factory OBDII system.
This new support expands HP Tuners’ growing Toyota ecosystem and gives enthusiasts, professional tuners, and shops more ways to support modified trucks used for daily driving, overland travel, towing, and adventure-focused builds.
Introducing the Toyota Smart Access Cable
Purpose-built specifically for modern Toyota platforms, the Toyota Smart Access Cable creates a streamlined connection point for diagnostics and calibration access while maintaining integration through the factory OBDII port.
Supported Applications:
- 2022 Toyota Tundra 3.5L (V35A-FTS)
- 2023-2026 Toyota Tundra 3.4L (V35A-FTS)
Unlike a traditional plug-and-play connection, the Smart Access Cable installs behind the dash and provides an accessible connection point for MPVI4 devices. Once installed, users can connect directly to VCM Suite software for scanning, diagnostics, data logging, and calibration workflows.
The installation is designed to integrate cleanly into the vehicle while supporting long-term use for drivers and tuners working with modified truck platforms.
Built for Modern Truck Builds
Modern truck builds continue evolving beyond stock configurations with larger tires, aftermarket wheels, rooftop cargo systems, suspension upgrades, recovery equipment, and additional weight. These modifications can significantly change how a vehicle behaves and responds during daily driving and off-road use.
With HP Tuners, users can adjust for aftermarket tire sizes and gear ratio changes directly within VCM Editor while using VCM Scanner to monitor and data log live vehicle behavior.
HP Tuners’ Toyota support is designed to help drivers and tuners better understand, diagnose, and support drivability after modifications.
Powered by VCM Suite
The Toyota Tundra platform is fully integrated into the HP Tuners ecosystem through VCM Suite, including:
- VCM Scanner for diagnostics and live data logging
- VCM Editor for calibration adjustments
- MPVI4 interface support
- Toyota Smart Access Cable integration
- Universal Credits licensing
Together, these tools provide professional-grade diagnostics and calibration capabilities for modern Toyota truck owners and tuners.
Remote Tuning Support with RTD4 & TDN
For customers working remotely with tuners, support is also available through RTD4 and the HP Tuners TDN app ecosystem.
Using the Toyota Smart Access Cable and RTD4 interface, customers can read and write calibration files directly from their vehicle while working with their preferred tuner remotely through TDN. This workflow allows tuners to review vehicle data, make calibration revisions, and send updated files without requiring the customer to ship controllers or visit a physical shop.
For modern truck owners, that means greater flexibility when supporting modified vehicles equipped with larger tires, overland gear, aftermarket components, or drivability-focused calibrations.
Together, RTD4 and TDN help simplify the remote tuning process while expanding access to professional calibration support for Toyota truck owners across the country.
Built for the Road Ahead
Whether the truck is used for commuting, towing, overland travel, or weekend exploration, HP Tuners gives drivers and tuners the professional tools to better support how their vehicle performs after modifications.
Support for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra platform is available now through MPVI4, RTD4, and the new Toyota Smart Access Cable.
