HP Tuners Announces NHRA Contingency Program Partnership, Supporting Racers Across Multiple NHRA Sportsman Classes

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., September 14th,2026 – HP Tuners is proud to announce its official partnership with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) through a new contingency program supporting racers competing in select NHRA Sportsman categories.

Beginning immediately, eligible competitors using HP Tuners products can earn contingency awards throughout the NHRA racing season in the following classes:

• Super Street
• Stock Eliminator
• Summit ET Series
• Competition Eliminator

The HP Tuners contingency program recognizes racers who choose HP Tuners products as part of their race-winning setups while reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to grassroots motorsports and the racers who continue to push the limits of performance.

Eligible competitors competing with HP Tuners products can receive:

• 1st Place: $300
• 2nd Place: $100

Awards are available at eligible NHRA events for racers competing in the supported classes who meet NHRA contingency requirements and HP Tuners eligibility guidelines.

To claim a contingency award, racers must submit proof of purchase for their HP Tuners product, such as a sales receipt or invoice, by emailing [email protected]. Contingency eligibility also extends to racers using HP Tuners products on their tow vehicles. Claims for tow vehicles must include proof of ownership and the VIN of the supported vehicle.
