BUFFALO GROVE, IL, March 17th, 2026—HP Tuners is excited to announce a major workflow improvement for vehicles equipped with the GM T93 TCM (Global A). With this latest update, users can now perform the required controller upgrade directly through the OBDII port using VCM Suite—eliminating the need to remove and ship the module for an upgrade service.
Previously, vehicles equipped with the T93 TCM required a mail-in upgrade service or hardware modification before tuning could begin. With this new release, the entire process can now be completed directly through VCM Suite, significantly simplifying the path to tuning and diagnostics.
This update allows tuners and shops to upgrade the controller in-vehicle, reducing downtime and streamlining the tuning workflow.
