Your Chance to Race an F1 Driver
HP Tuners is inviting sim racers to qualify for an opportunity to compete directly against Formula 1 driver, Oscar Piastri.
Set your fastest lap during the Time Attack qualifying window—open NOW, closing April 29th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT.
The top 30 drivers will advance to a live race event where they will compete head-to-head against Oscar on the Miami GP circuit in iRacing.
This is a skill-based competition open to drivers ready to test themselves against elite talent!
How It Works
How to Race:
- Sign up using the registration form.
- Enter the iRacing Time Attack event, closes on April 29th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT.
- Set your fastest lap on the Miami GP circuit (full course).
- Top 30 drivers advance to race Oscar Piastri live on May 4th, 2026 @ 4 PM CDT.
Drivers will be notified after qualifying closes.

- 2-3 Practice Laps

Thirty qualified drivers will compete directly against Oscar Piastri in a professionally hosted iRacing event.
Drivers will experience a competitive race environment using high-end simulation equipment and real race structure.

F.A.Q.
Do I need special equipment?
Participants must have access to iRacing and the ability to complete the Time Attack event on the Miami GP Full Course using the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO.
How many drivers will qualify?
The top 30 drivers on the leaderboard will advance to race Oscar Piastri. However, we will also select the next 10 best drivers to stand-by. These drivers will be notified to take part in the race if racers in the top 30 cannot participate.
When is the final race?
May 4, 2026 @ 4:00 PM CDT.
How will qualifiers be notified?
Qualified drivers will receive email communication with event instructions following the close of the Time Attack period. Make sure you check your spam if you do not see an email right away.
