    What cam sprocket needed for E38/E67 etc PCMs LS swap

    The guy has either a 2007 Escalade PCM or a GMPP LS3 crate engine PCM he can use, and my brain is farting right now. They all need 4x cam sprocket, or if you select no variable cam in the drop down can you use a 1x (half moon raised) cam sprocket?

    All GEN4s (except E40) take 4x/58x. Only 1x cam gears for GEN3 and E40s.

    4x cam sprocket.. Late C6 Z06's cam sprocket are the go to normally (3 bolt)

    Thats what I thought. Wanted to make sure, its the funky TBSS 6.0s and such that use 58x crank and 1x cam (E40s)

    No, the '05-06 Trailblazers both 5.3 & 6.0 were 24x/1x, they just have the Gen 4 block/knock sensors/conrods/intake manifold/etc., 2006 car LS2s were 58x/4x. GM never mixed 24x/4x or 58x/1x though there are some standalones that will let you do those mismatch combos.

    Now go find me a 1x single bolt cam sprocket.

    no they don't.. e40 tbss use 24x 1x cam.. E67 use 58x 4x
