Keith, tried the LM-1 using beta 221 and still in op. Channel parameters disappear. I did see that Innovate upgraded the serial protocol from a previous LM-1 version to the newer SP-2 but their documentation says it is backwards compatible?

Update on LM-1 testing......
Setup USB Hub so I could retest using my newer Surface 3 Pro. Beta used was .222 and had the same results. Channel names for Lambda and status disappeared as soon as scanner began logging.
As a added test, just to make sure the hub was working I initiated the Innovate Logworks 3 program and the gauge for the AFR was operating as designed.
Let me know if you need anything from me to help

aem 30-4100 serial port is working for me.
I have come to the conclusion the all Innovate stuff is crap..... been on the phone with them a lot this last week trying to figure out why the voltage offsets change constantly while logging and the MTX-L keeps eating sensors, the 4.2 sensor, they tell me its HP Tuners problem but i verified over and over it is not the software problem, waiting for my new AEM to arrive
My MTX-L did the exact same thing. I went through 2 or 3 sensors in 6 months, finally ditched it and got the PLX setup and have been using the same sensor for getting close to a year now.
What's really bad is when the sensor goes out when you're using the "narrowband" simulated output on the MTX-L, which goes to 0mV, so the stock ECM think it's lean and keeps adding fuel

The ground offsets are because the MTX-L output signal shares ground with the high-current heater load. So, it varies with the sensor temperature. That's why it's never the same. It changes with EGT, back pressure, and exhaust flow. There is a trick you can do to get a ground reference. But it requires that the logging device have a differential input. the HPT doesn't.
As for killing sensors, they are kinda known for that. It usually happens most in cars with rapidly changing EGTs ( thermal shock ). They have a heat-sink bung extender that helps some with this. But, it SHOULDN'T be necessary.

Gotcha. Seems like the Innovate products are inconsistent?
I tried with LC-2 and AFR readings are in the 2,000. Doesn't correlate to volts or anything
9 sec Montecarlo SS
So the only person the innovate stuff is working for is me....
I need you guys to contact support to use the beta, and test, and then send in a debug.dat file.
We got this guy Not Sure, ...
VCM Scanner version #3.0.81
Innovate LM-1: Doesn't work
PID goes away when logging starts.
I have an LM-1, LC-1 and LC-2 - I will contact Support to try and help with BETA testing.
Has anyone opened up a support ticket for these issues yet???

Has anyone tried a PLX yet? The serial output is screwed up on mine so I can't test it.

FYI, if any use - I only just got my car running again after an, err, "gap".. and my Innovate MTX-L serial output now reads numbers in the 200 to 600 range (it's supposed to be AFR?). It seems to work, but it's showing (I guess) mV or something... ? (the actual gauge is fine) -I haven't tried using Innovates SW on it yet, but i will tomorrow and I suspect it'll be ok... My scanner is v3.0.81.

LM-1 Innovate serial wb feature doesn't work using Beta 3.1.252
When scan is started the applicable Serial WB channels disappear
In addition submitted another set of data including Debug.dat, Channel and Chart config files against the open ticket [#32709]: Test of LM-1 Serial Interface using version 3.0.72.
Thank you,
