Id imagine it's a good idea to change the default setting from 350 ft/lbs to 450ft/lbs. Is this correct. I have an M6 car with more than 350 ft/lbs of torque.

I don't know what this param means - is it the threshold
for deciding abuse is going on, or is it where the PCM is
supposed to cap torque output when it declares abuse?
I sure would like to find a reference that explains this
sort of thing, what the names really mean and the
philosophy or behavior of them.
Im interested in this answer as well.

Well i don't think it's where the abuse mode will cap output to because stock it's set to 350ft/lbs. That's usually more than a stock ls1 puts out.
I have the Manual for my car and I'll see what/if anything it says about the Abuse mode.

I set mine to 639 which is the max the PCM is supposed to recognize. This makes sense since it's the same parameter to remove TM. And in the Torque Reduction tables you zero them out.
I am still having trouble with what (I think) is an abuse
trigger problem. Under some "spirited driving" event
my output / RPM will just "limit". This is with a tune
where I have already done the following:
Transmission>Abuse Mode RPM 8000
Transmission>Abuse Mode TPS% 100
Transmission>Abuse Mode Speed 255
Transmission>Abuse Mode Torque Reduction
- table zeroed
Engine>Enter Abuse Mode Test If RPM> 8000
Engine>Enter Abuse Mode Test If MPH< 255
Engine>Max Torque 639
Engine>Max Torque vs RPM IN Gear
- table filled w/ 638
Engine>Abuse Mode Timer vs Trans Temp
- table zeroed (trying to end this mode quicker)
I have a question about the
Engine>Enter Abuse Mode Test If MPH< 255
field, it seems like the sense is backwards (high
MPH should be abuse?) in the inequality operator.
Would like some review of this, specifically what
side of the term makes me -not- trigger abuse test.
Also, any issue w/ the high RPM and MPH values
doing a "wrap-around" or anything crazy like that?
