Running MAF, or SD? If MAF, disable VE and run direct MAF, and tune in your MAF transfer.

You Snyper, did you read what I said?

For now, take a STOCK calibration from the respository, and then disable the VE, and tune in the MAF transfer. That's the biggest hurdle you have at you at this point. Once there, we can work to improve the rest of the tune.

To disable VE (yes, the vehicle will still run 100% normal in pure MAF mode), do this:

Go to Engine, General, Airflow, Dynamic Airflow, and set "High RPM Disable" to 100 and "High RPM Re-enable" to 0.

Ok. Well before I do that I have to sort out my MAF issue. In the scanner its stuck at 1g/sec and doesn't move. Im getting the P0102 low freq code. My MAP reads 67kPa at idle which seems high to me...any ideas on either?

Ok. Well I havent started the car since fixing this issue but I left my friend to tightening down the manifold and when he did he didnt do it very well. Every single bolt holding it down was hand loose.. This is the tune I paid 185$ for and was done by Hinson. I already went through and turned off a few codes that shouldnt of been on there like the immobilizer codes and what not.

Why in the hell was the IFR table lowered by exactly -2.0 across the board?

Other than that, basically NOTHING was done in the tune. I think all that you ordered from him was something that you could crank it on, correct?

Snyper, do me a favor, and tell me how your inlet system is arranged, please? Is it setup like the GTO where it comes 90 degrees out of the TB and then goes over to the driver side to the MAF and filter? Stock LS2 MAF, right? If so, screened or descreened?

I'll be happy to post you up a new starter tune sometime later tonight. Your car should run very much better after the new starter tune. I'll also put you up a config file to use for the datalogging, and then with help from all of us here you can get the MAF transfer dialed in for your idle and part throttle areas.

As of right now I have a 90* elbow in my trunk and the screened MAF is coming right off the throttle body with a reducer. Its a stock LS2 MAF but it might be broken. Whats weird is the scanner only reads the MAF is flowing 1g/sec and is stuck there..however my car seems to be running okay.(not like it would with a shitty MAF) just very rich The cam is a 238/240 .605/.609 112+2, headers,SLP balancer25% and thats it for now. My first time tuning ever was my full standalone on my turbod setup. I was given a few pointers and I had the car running 11.1 across the board. This program is MUCH different(and more complicated) than the Haltech one I used. I dont have any of the emmisions equipment or VATS or anything like that. No A/C either.

(ive since gotten rid of the 04 style elbow in place of an 05-06 elbow.

Okay, I would highly suggest you do NOT run the MAF directly off the TB, especially in regards to potential backwash issues when the throttle slams shut. You really should have the MAF no closer than 6" from the TB. Personally, why not just set it up like the GTO and run filter, MAF, inlet tube, TB???

Anyway, it's very possible that your wiring is the culprit, or the MAF. You need to figure this out. The reason the car is still "running" is because it's defaulting to the VE, since the MAF isn't being read.

Also, is that a return style fuel system I see in the pic? Very nice entire setup, indeed!
