    2001 8.1l Allison Shift firmness

I am new to HP Tuners and want to improve shifts on my truck. It has a Bully Dog stage II shift enhancer other than that the transmission is stock. I was wondering if I reduce the desired shift time, and increase apply pressure what do I have to do to the release pressures? I have built transmissions before and I know when you increase apply volume (speed) you also have to increase release speed for the previous gear. Will increasing release pressure make it release faster? Sorry if this is confusing but any help would be appreciated.

I'm hoping to find the answer to this too. I just don't want to ruin an Allison.
