General:

The Help->About form now checks if a newer update is available.

Misc:

MPVI Tunerlock ID's have changed the value displayed. The previous value displayed was a preprocessed value. The new values displayed are the post-processed value. The end results will still be the same algorithm. This change was done to support MPVI2. It's strictly a cosmetic change.

 

MPVI2:

Initial hardware release.

USB reading/writing fully supported, same as the MPVI.

Bluetooth pass-through reading supported. On some vehicle, reading over bluetooth may be slower than reading over USB.

Bluetooth pass-through writing is currently disabled.

VCM Editor 3.0


Global:

The software can now remember multiple application keys and interface license information.

VCM Suite Info form is now more informative.

Editor and Scanner both save vehicle history, allowing you to switch between vehicle profiles while offline to build channel configs more easily.

 

Files:

.hpt files are saved using a new file format. Files are significantly smaller.

Tune changelog history is now much more comprehensive. Older .hpt file changelogs cannot be imported and will be pruned.

Tune changelog includes full binary restore points.

You can now automatically load the last working file when you open up Editor (Tools->Options).

 

Editing:

Tune Details has been improved. Controllers now display much more information.

Virtual Volumetric Efficiency Wizard added for supported calibrations.

Transmission Segment Swapping has been added.

Parameters have been organized and grouped more appropriately.

 

Parameter Navigation:

The parameter view window can now be resized both vertically and horizontally.

The parameter view window is now shared between all subsections (engine/transmission/system, etc...)

The parameter view window remembers your previous location and instantly navigates there.

Right click copy of scalars now includes unit symbol.

Parameters now display their internal ID's. These can be used for quick reference, and searching.

Navigator now has filters and a search box.

Table editor has improved color scaling.

Table editor interpolation now works appropriately for axis with variable spacing.
