I TUNED A 2017 SILVERADO WITH 6.2 AND 8SPD TRANS..IT SAID I NEEDED 4credits FOR ENGINE AND WOULD NOT LET ME READ TCM..SAID I NEEDED TO CONTACT HP TUNERS SUPPORT FOR TRANS..WHAT IS THE DEAL?? I TUNE 2016 SILVERADO'S WITH 8SPD AND 6SPD 5.3ENGINE WITH HALF THE CREDITS AND DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS..CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY I NEED THE 4 CREDITS FOR ENGINE ON A 2017 AND CANT READ TRANS.....THANKS

2017+ cost more, lots of threads about it from probably 5 years ago by now.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
2017+ uses a different ecm than 2016 so they really can't be compared to one another.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
