Best way to limit torque/throttle to get traction

So this is the opposite of what most folks want. On a prepped surface I can get my throttle to open immediately to get hi 1.2's-low 1.3's sixty's. I now want to be able to limit the throttle/torque to get a similar sixty on an unprepped surface-basically a "no prep tune". I've had some success putting the DD back to stock and setting the TCM 40740 table to 1000 across the board and it would launch but then cutout out the throttle after that. I'm wanting a smoother effect-almost like traction control.

    TIA!

you could try to use the RPM vs gear tables in the torque management>general tab. it's a engine torque limiter by gear and rpm.
normally these are used for MT cars, i am not 100% sure if the will work without enabling the enable bit which is not accessible in HPT, but maybe it is used regardles of the enable bit.

I usually use peak torque table combined with max area vs rpm.

I'm pretty sure table 40740 would limit WOT in stock form. Did anyone notice that as well?
