I've passed this info on to a few other individuals so I might as well spread it to everyone. For those of you willing to do a little work and realign your shift tables here is a trick. Go into your speedo cal, take note of the VSS revs and error revs. Select 40" in the tire size, and whatever gear ratio you have. Unchecked auto scale then hit commit. Go back into the VSS and VSS error table and replace the new number with what you copied down earlier. Leave the tranny VSS and error table alone. What you have done is trick the tranny into going roughly 20 MPH faster and it will put the car into high speed lockup mode. In the Camaro you can achieve full lockup at 48 MPH. Now I said there is a little work to be done with regards to shift and lockup speeds. They will no longer reflect what the car is actually doing. You will have to do some work on all your tables. This is a trick and not a true fix. The fix is either buy the Trifecta software through me or wait till HP gets their stuff together.
since post #28, it has been about 1.5 months. Is there a release which we can use now?
Nope
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Boys, its December. Between PRI and the holidays you'd better give up on the poking Bill until 2011.
Drumroll please.....
Its up.
With that said its been a while since the last beta compile so I've got, literally, about 500 emails I'm going through now so if you've already emailed me for these new tables please sit tight while I go through all of these.
Thanks,
Bill

I noticed in the new beta that all of the new TCC Desired Slip tables have default values of 0.
Since I'm not quite sure yet if I want to utilize the new 6L80 feature to keep the converter locked up full time, I'm curious what would happen if I flash the car but don't touch any of the TCC settings.
Would flashing it just once with the new beta automatically force my converter to stay locked up from now on? If it does, what hapens if I decide later I'd like to restore it back to the way it is now?
If they are set to 0 it is what it is, its not like we magically went in and changed the values.
The beta software just SHOWS you the additional tables, nothing more nothing less.

ya, something isnt right with the tables, if they are at 0 you shouldnt see tcc slip,, also there should be a mph table, becuase in stock form above 60 mph you can tell the tcm keeps the tcc slip very close to 0,, and below that you have like 50+ rpm slip

Might just be a corvette thing.
I looked at the 2010+ Camaro & 08-09 G8 cals and they have values in those tables...maybe the corvettes used some other strategy.

Bill i need this update as well. I sent ya an email.
Even with the tables set to 0 you are going to see some TCC slip as the TCM tries to maintain that 0 rpm slip with the minimum amount of pressure required. That's where the apply rate table comes in...

In my 09 G8GT, I can see the TCC desired slip values in 1st gear are all 0's, but the tables are populated for 2nd through 6th, with 5th and 6th allowing more slip at low to mid Eng tq. the tables go by rpm/eng tq
According to the tables, the desired slip is a little higher for 5th and 6th. at least on the 09 G8GT. i'll check with the Camaro's, but i guess if a copy the 4th gear values (2nd,3rd and 4th are the same, 5th and 6th are the same, but the slip values are higher compared to the other 3 gears) and paste them in the 5th and 6th, the TC should slip a little less and provide some mpg gains ? I'm still running the stock verter.
