It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

i have lots of experience tuning all ford vehicles, especially mustangs.
Can you elaborate on this?Originally Posted by twinturbo

SCT tuned a lot of lightning and mustangs old and new. Lightning's are not covered by HPT, to old. Stepping into my first GM's and started with a stock CTS V and have now added a cold air kit and retuned. The GM software is a lot stranger than the SCT ford stuff, and very limited to the 4.6L and 5.4L for now. Looking forward to the new 5.0L and 6.2L gas engines when they are available. Then it's on to Dodge "yuk" vehicles coming soon.
Just use the KISS principal with the Ford's and you won't hurt anything, air, fuel, timing is the heartbeat of a Ford.

1badtk......you should check the date on the thread you're repsonding to.
as for the kiss method, and "you won't hurt anything" I cannot agree at all.
Fords require many changes to the factory calibration to be done right. Tuning is not as simple as just hacking up a pe table on a gm and or screwing up the stabilized open loop fuel table on the ford to achieve an acceptable WOT afr.
