    Trying to change OS

    I have a 99 vette and having a PITA time trying to change the OS. I want to move to an 01+ that has a few different tables as well as a simplified VE table. I have 2 HP cables 1 - 90 & 00 and 1 - 98 & 01 & 02 but you can't do an OS swap with this combo. What are the other options? Have the PCM reflashed to a 01+ at the dealer? I have a buddy that works @ a GM dealer that can do it for free. Any other options? If someone has a 99 and 02 cable can they reflash it and than I can use my 02 to rewrite vcm?

    Yup, you need support for the year your going from and the year your going to change VIN's/ReWrite entire VCM.

    GM dealer is probably your easiest bet since your cables dont have a year in common for support that you could flash your car with
