    Commanded AFR?

How accurate is the commanded AFR that the PCM reports. This is on a car with no major mods yet. I'm sure a cam might throw this off alot. In stock form my buddies 02 WS6 commands an AFR of 11.7:1 at WOT.

that is just that, the commanded AFR.

Provided all the rest of your info is correct, that is what the pcm will try to establish.

My guess is a 11.7 afr is a combination of a PE mode of 1.22/1.25 and COT kicking in.

All stock PE tables are 1.250 fuel air multiplier.
By some coincidence, this is also the value in the
    COT max field. 14.7/1.250=11.7=suck.

OK, thanks. So we'll need to lean out the PE table and probably turn off the COT. And that is exactly what the values in his PE table were. About 1.250
