You can tune the ve and maf table using the fuel trims for part throttle areas but DO NOT attempt to tune WOT relying on the stock narrowband sensor feedback.

so, am I playing a dangerous game adjusting my wot fuel table to 12.5:1 afr without checking it out with a wideband even though that is still quite a bit richer than 13.3 which I am told is an ideal afr at wot

Yes that is dangerous to do and 13.3 afr at WOT is not ideal, it is a bit on the lean side. Actually for me that is quite lean I like to tune the afr at around 12.8 for a naturally aspirated engine.

You can command your WOT AFR in the editors Power Enrichment section BUT thats just what you are telling the PCM to command...it doesn't mean your car is hitting those values. You have to verify it with a wideband. If its NOT hitting what you commanded you go back in and adjust your VE/MAF tables until you get the value your trying to hit. No PE table rapping! Adjust your VE/MAF tables to suit.
