    Unhappy Newie, need HELP

    Attachment 8352 Im very new at this. Ive got my hp tuners software etc...
    Ive got a GM Holden Commodore VE SSV L98 6ltr m6. (for none aussies)
    Ive got a cold air intake and a 2 1/2inch cat back sports system.
    I dont have a WB02 as yet. Ive been reading almost every single thread in here but i havent gotten anywhere cause my engine is called a L98 in aussie land and all u guys have got LS1s and LS2s. So I need help in where to start with my tune. Here is a copy of my stock tune so i hope a nice guy can have a look and see what can be dont to get the most trque and power out of it so plz help this aussie guy out. thanx Tony

    Since you will be using the same PCM as the LS2's you will end up tuning the same.
    Start by turning off the LTFT and tuning the MAF tables based on the STFT. You can set up a filter to keep PE values out of your STFT data.
    Get the fuel right and then work on the spark. If you have excessive KR fix that immediately so you don't damage anything. Once you have the fueling correct you can then attack the spark advance. Remember to re-check fueling because spark can have an effect on fueling.

    thanx for ur info.
    I cant find where to turn the LTFT off.
    What do u mean by tuning the MAF tables based on the STFT.
    How do I filter to keep PE values out of my STFT data.
    Im new at this and i need more info etc... and help in doin all of this so im sorry for being a pest.

    There's a LTFT Enable temperature on the Open/Closed loop tab. Set it 1 degree less than the max value and LTFT will be off.

    thanx for the info link it has got me started with my tune.
    1 question i got if u can answer it for me.on the MAF Fail High Freq and MAF Fail Low Freq it asked to set them to 0 but ive only got the MAF Fail High Freq and not the MAF Fail Low Freq so where or what do i have to done there.

    im getting high KR when im scanning a log by driving like 6 to 13 and when a do a scan on a dyno my KR is not as high like 1 to 4. Do i go with the dyno reading of my KR and ignore the driving side of the KR.

    i want to do a MAF tune for my car. Whats the best step by step to do so.
    As its a Gen 4 L98 6ltr m6 which is close to a LS2 I think.
