    C5 Fan Temp Settings

Can I use the HP Tuner to turn on BOTH fans at low speed and then BOTH fans at high speed at my desired temps?

I want the car to run about 185F-200F

    I already have a 170 t-stat...

I have a 2003 Z06. I believe both fans go on low speed when the stage 1 setting is reached; and then both go on high speed when the stage 2 setting is reached.
I believe the factory settings are about 220 and 230.
    I reset mine to a stage 1 @ 174 and a stage 2 @ 183.
To adjust, read your OEM file, go into Editor, then Edit, System, General, and then adjust the stage 1 and stage 2 temp settings.
If you are looking for 185-200, I would suggest a stage 1 setting of 185, and a stage 2 setting of 195. You might want to set the turn off settings about 6 degrees or so lower than the turn on settings.

    Re: C5 Fan Temp Settings

I would (I do) put the fans on right about the thermostat
"pivot" temp. For my "160F" with the actual 177F pivot point
and a roughly 175-179F range based on load, I set fans:

    FAN1 OFF: 176F
    FAN1 ON: 177F
    FAN2 OFF: 178F
    FAN2 ON: 179F

FAN2 activates only during / after hard driving and FAN1 runs
most of the time but can cut out under light cruise if there is
enough rolling airflow. Bumping it up a degree or two might
get the fans a little less busy but I like a consistent water temp
for tuning and don't like to have the fans playing "catch-up" with
a radiator that's already too hot to help, by the time airflow
    starts.

I wish I could find some higher-flow fans too.
