What kind of timing are you guys running at peak torque, and at max rpm?

i have an LNF and timing from 4400-6500rpms is 19-20* on e47
although it was an incomplete dyno pull due to the rear wheels not moving and i believe the abs fuse not removed cause boost issues in the upper RPM but 'peak' hp at just 5100 was 295. the car shifts at 6500 and from my understanding of other LNF motors that dyno, power starts to drop off after 6200

    Granny,
I have the core file but I cleared out my VCM log database for the ecotecs.
Don't think this will help you in determining the real time output timing, but if you don't have a copy already, at least this will show you the base table values.

At peak Torque on 93/94 AKI octane I'd leave the timing no higher than 10*..... at max RPM it's a trial and error with whatever fuel you're running and the ambient air temp.

All I can think of is a damaged piston and/or ring. Sorry I don't have any better news.
A sliver of the turbine wheel could of done it very easily and fast. Not sure if you can replace a piston and ring from the oil pan, but that's what we always did with old school American Iron.
