How stable is a SDOL tune?

How close do you really need to get the VE table with a wideband?

do you need to hook up the wideband perm. and constantly monitor the AFR?
or is it a stable tune as long as nothing changes?

...and if so where do you have yours mounted?

    1) depends on how much time you want to spend on it. You could technically spend months on the VE tune polishing it down to a nub or you could get it running "real good" and call it done. Up to you...

    2) Wideband is most useful for diagnosing problems and for tuning the WOT portion of your tune. 2a. Tune will remain the same as long as you are happy with it...

    3) Pre-cat or post turbo (if equipped)...

I've been running my SDOL for probably 6 months or so without much issue. I just recently went back to CL because I was getting a jerking feeling when I let off the gas and coast to a stop at anything over 35mph. It wasn't bad but I didn't like it.
