    weird prob with my car in SD....

    So, brought the car to the dyno today to get my VE all dailed in, but it's acting super weird. Can't figure out why. According to my histo, it's wants my VE tables in the high 100's and low 200's. It runs rich as hell already(ford SVO 42#'s). I jacked up the VE that to see how the car would react. and I can smell like pure gas going through.

    needless to say, it runs ok with the MAf plugged in when the car goes in PE mode or whenever I get on it. lower speeds it's VERY slugish it like the cycl's are flooded.

    I had the wideband plugged into the Y pipe. But there are two cutoffs closer to the motor which might of been leaking a little.

    The car dyno'ed ok. It did 410@7000.

    Just need to get it's driveablity up....

    any ideas???

    I did a 02 earlier in the day and all went fine....

    my 99 just didn't want to run in SD mode...

    Your fuel trims are up to ~ -20% and the WB is ready very lean. Fix those exhaust leaks and make sure the WB is properly calibrated. I set your injector flow rate table. I would set the PE to 1.13 (13.0 AFR) Also set the stoich afr to 14.68. Your still in closed loop even though the closed loop enable is set to 284*F. Just unplug one of the front O2 sensors, this will put the car into open loop.

    yea, pretty sure the prob I'm having is an exhust leak.

    I have QTP headers with the slip-on collectors and they are a bitch to seal.....

    Russ, the file you uploaded isn't working, "failed validation check".

    anyways, I have PE set to 1.3 to 4k, then 1.155 after that.
    stoich afr is at 14.68.

    also, I used the spead sheet to set my injector flow rate..... Why would it be different?

    Also, is it normal for the car to go into closed loop when it's set not to? Do all years require you pulling one of the 02 sensors?

    Since I have Beta 2.1.13, you will need the same version to read my files. Anyway your injector flow rate table was a little high (leaner) than the spread sheet I used. For some unknown reason some cal's. still go into closed loop even though the enable temp is set high, and the STFT & LTFT are disabled.
    Even a small exhaust leak upstream from the WB sensor makes a big diff.

    This is the spread sheet for the injector flow rate. I think it was posted from Sound Engineer.

    Here is what I'm using to plug in.....

    The one you posted has the stock fuel pressure @ 56 and not 58.....

    injector rated 41.47 @ 40
    our presuure is 58

    Where did you find out the injector is rated @ 43.5???

    I remember back a few months ago looking into it and finding it was rated @ 40 PSI...

    On the http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injec...MODS.asp#denso web site it appears that they are rated at 3 bar. So 14.503861 x 3 = 43.511583.
