When will we see a Ford tuning Solution

So I know we are in full fledged GM tuning swing but will HP Tuners ever offer anything to tune Ford vehicles? I need something for my '03 Cobra as the Predator is starting to get out of its area of being useful. Actually I never really thought it was worth a shit, how are you only going to adjust two fuel tables 2-4K and 4-7K all the same percentage and think you are gonna come up with a good fuel curve? Anyways it would be great to have a tuning solution for my car so if there is anyway I can help in the developement process at all, let me know.
    Thanks
    Mike

Its hard for us to say anything other than, yeah we are interested at this stage. We have discussed a number of other manufacturers but it's too early for anything concrete.

I think there is a good chance we will offer other tuning software outside of GM markets in the future, putting a timeframe to it is the hard part.

    Thank You!!!!!

You know; my mother always used to say that patience was a virtue...

Ever since, I have wondered why I don't have much virtue. :P This patience thing is killing me. ;D

(whispering in ear...) Remember, 2005 F-250 Diesel first..... (whisperer, leaves the room quietly)

Without pushing too hard. Can you recommend??? Should I buy the SCTFlash ProTuner for Christmas to be able to tune my truck; or might there be a competing product from my friends that I might be interested in?

As our new competitor i cannot suggest you buy anything from SCT :P

Give Superchips a call or send them an email in regards to your vehicle, i honestly don't know if it is already supported by them or not.

    Cheers,

Thanks Ryan, that report says that they all give roughly the same HP and TQ numbers. While that produces good numbers. It is the ability to completely tune the tranny in the Autos that lets you feel like the truck is quick or sluggish. I had my 03 SS tuned with shifts that felt like something broke every time it shifted... When I sold it, there was a spot in the headrest I swear!!!

Correct, the trans makes all the differences in the world when it comes to the 6.0 diesel tuning.

I have been playing with it for a little while, and if you like the feel, you can make the shifts very firm.

Re: When will we see a Ford tuning Solution

Without breaking anything? I hear from some tuners that the tranny has easily breakable parts... but other tuners say that if you quicken the shifts and lock up the converter, that it will last longer and run cooler. (which seems more consistant with my experience on my SS. though i bought upgraded parts for it.) Thoughts?

And HPT... any forward progress on the FORD HPT for 05 Diesels?

With enough power, anything will break.

The older 6.0's had a recalls on the reverse planetary gear.

Just picked up an F250 (gas though) and would love HPT to support it. I'm assuming it'll be awhile yet though...may just have to see what superchips has.

    Question

Me 2 I am very interested in being able to play with my wife's 05 Stang GT. Any idea as to when? Or if you can't give me a day, mo, or year could you atleast be able to tell us what some of the things available to tune/adjust in the ford pcm ecc module? I'm sure lots of the basics VE stuff are there but are there things we use in the GM field that don't exist on the blue side of the road and are there things we don't have yet the oval crowd does?

i need a smiley that shows no brain activity with droul coming out side of mouth... thats me as i wait .. patiently lol
