    DTC's w/2.1.12?

I connected after upgrading to 2.1.12 and I see these codes. Can anyone tell me what they are?

U1000 - Class 2 Communication Malfunction (History) (Immature)
    U1000 - Class 2 Communication Malfunction (History)
    B3128 - Unknown (History) (Immature)
U1016 - Loss of Class 2 Communication with VCM (History) (Immature)
U1064 - Loss of Communications with DIM (History) (Immature)

I would appreciate any help. TIA
    Mitchell

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

like stated they are all BCM codes...they gave us the ability to view them with 2.1.12 im sure if people keep complaining about being able to see them they will do a recall in the next version

Not complaining, I actually like it, & hope the next version keeps it.

Mnay of the U-codes appear after programming. The BCM likes to stay in communications with the PCM & during programming, there is no connection so the U-code sets. Same with IPC, DIM, etc..

I got the same thing but I couldnt clear them out no matter how hard I tried. Am I missing somehting? I am a complete noob but normally when I get a DTC I just clear them and they are gone. These wont go away no matter how many times or different ways I try. Thanks!

Taken Directly from the help file
Added - All modules now scanned for DTC's in the DTC window.

This doesnt mean you can delete, edit, modify the BCM codes.

I think the real issue is the presentation of the codes. They are presented very randomly. How about just a simple sort and maybe a color coding that separates the PCM codes from any other modules.

the OBDII standard defines all the codes already

Uxxx is serial data line errors, each module has its own number

    Pxxx is powertrain

    Bxxx is body

    Cxxx is chassis

and on and on the list goes
There is no replacement for displacement?&&sure there is, its called a Blower!

So, do we ignore these BCM codes? Or, is there room for concern???

Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but I'm seeing a ton of codes and a few of them make me worry. If you look on the 2nd page of the Document I attached it says C0300 Rear Speed Sensor Malfunction and also for the front too.
So far nothing seems wrong but....

How do we know if there is something actually wrong or not.

If you ran the vehicle on a dyno, you will get ABS codes or if you did a long smoky burnout...

I also get the U1000 message, but I will get it every time I pull up the DTC window, I only get one though, and it's a lil 'scary' sounding. I've gotten used to it and ignore it now, but I could see how people would be nervous at the "XXXXX Communications Failure" when dealing with a tuning system.

I'm getting U1000, U1016, U1040, U1096. At first I thought those codes were setting my SES light, but it turns out I had a P0300 lost in the middle of all the other error codes.
