It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

GM does recommend having a supplemental charging device while flashing for future reference. But yes, it sucks.

Spend the $400 for a programming power supply from Midtronics. Stable 13.5V with current supply up to 70A, keeps even a dead battery nice and stable when doing long programming events.

Also, roll the windows down. Never trust the key-less entry system.

I did 14 with out battery going dead it got low after it wouldn't start to charge it and I made a Temp to reflash it couple times ,I normally never leave the key in of course the one time I do, so some one can drive while I push it inside the doors lock,

The Schumacher inc-700a is a great power supply for keeping voltage stable during flashing. Very common in the BMW world and will work just fine on GM's too.

Problem fixed, after 14 flashes 50 miles of driving ,many start ups ,checking fluids, starter wire gets loose after I back it out of my house garage 15 ft for some idle tuning and do another flash bam no start, another flash fails trans side for first time so me thinking ok look for codes guess what no trans communication code
damm this is right up there with the 95 lt1 with a brand new (name brand) fuel pump that dies after a flash or the lifted duramax with the wheel sensor wire that shorts out making it flip out,on and on
I was thinking about checking it sooner but my tools where at my other shop
sorry hpt for the e-mails wasting your time
now on to tuning and on the dyno

Was it loose from the factory or did you have it off for some reason?

It was off for the 427 install yes ,it had many start ups and 4 test drives
after looking at it I can see how it was not 100% locked in very tight fit with headers
