    Problems SD tuning 05 LS2

    I am having a couple of easy problems. I am setting the closed loop temp to 284 and the STFT are still coming on. Another problem is we're commanding 13.1 but the PCM is commanding 12.60 @ WOT. What am I missing here?

    The O2 Readiness temp needs to be set high as well to totally disable closed loop.

    do you have COT turned off?

    I thought the steps were:

    Disconnect MAF
    Copy HO to LO
    Flash
    Start car, reset Fuel trims.

    Is there more to it or is the above for VE tuning only?

    That is for VE tuning, but the only problem on the LS2 is that disconnecting the MAF also disconnects the IAT sensor so you have to disable the MAF in HPT if you haven't relocated your IAT sensor.
