    Throwing P0340 for cam sensor, but cam counts are incrementing normally it seems?

    Car came in and sensor had fallen out of front cover (aftermarket comp cover, guess they didnt put bolt in) put it back in started right up no problem no codes. Every once and a whiel it still throws 340 and exhibits hard start. Clear code and it fires right up though and watching cam sensor counts nothing seems amiss? Any ideas?
