These folks may have what you want in the harness department...

The word 'may" is because I looked at the difference in pin outs, sensors and body module. This may be a real challenge.
As for the PCM, the 1999 thru 2002 use the 12200411. Just pick an appropriate VIN and have it flashed. But you new that one..
We modify harnesses but have not been asked for this 98 to 99-02 conversion. I believe a stand a lone harness would be the answer if the sensors are compatible..

just go with speartech if you want to do a new harness.

reason I ask is cause I might be getting a 98 thru a trade deal with somebody who wants an almost stock six speed(which I have) and I'd be getting a 98 A4....adn I'm not dealig with a crappy 98 computer..I gotta have SD for what I want to do
so I need a 99-02 pcm for it
I have wiring diagrams...but I dont really want to go there..LOL

you can cross up the pinouts, swap coolent sensors and get it done.
but noone makes an off-the-shelf solution.

the only shop i know that does that sort of thing, and would have the female 98 connectors to make it a actual plug swap would be speartech.. someone else might also have the connectors, but i donno where.
you can call steve spears and ask him how much for a crossover harness, but my guess would be atleast $300... he isnt cheap. lol.
if you wanted to do it yourself, you could use a trashed 98 computer, salvage/dremel the connections, ect..... good bit of work
in the FAQ at the top of the conversion/hybrid forum on LS1tech, you'll find both the 98 and the 99-02 PCM pinouts.
