eliminate fpcm and running separate fuel system?

Is there a way to bypass the fuel pump control module and run separate fuel pumps with relays? I bought 2 aem e85 fuel pumps to supply fuel to my boosted 09 5.3 colorado and I heard of the headaches the fpcm gives while tuning. Can it be done??

He asked if it can be done so I told "yes", he didn't ask how LOL

To get rid of the fpcm you need to bypass it and turn the dtc's off in the tune. The fpcm is part of the CAN bus so you can't unplug or remove it without disturbing the network. If you want to completely remove it you need to change the wiring and restore the CAN network. It's easier to leave it plugged and bypassed, it will do nothing but talk over the network.
Next, install your pumps, relays, regulator and return line as you would with any other car. They need to be wired as an independent system, the ecm has no discrete output for the fuel pump like older pcm's, you need to trigger the relay using the ignition signal.
The injector settings need work, you need to set the ifr and everything to match a return system.

    I think that's everything
