What all is needed for WBO2 to work right?

I know I will need the HP Tuners with the EIO option--$649.00. What else will I need to start using the Wide Band O2? Just a Wide Band O2 sensor? Or is there some other component needed before I can get started? I hope to be buying in the next couple weeks and would like to get a good understanding of things beforehand.
    Thanks.

You will need a cable to go from the WBO2 controller to the HP Tuners EIO. With the LM-1, I paid a few extra $$$ to get the cable (something like $5, I do not remember). I could have gotten it from Radio Shack just as easily. Other WBO2s migh come with the cable. Thats about it.

Thanks. I was hoping to not have to unload another $320 for the LM-1. Can I get just the WBO2 sensor and the cable if I do not think I will need a continuous display?
    Thanks.

nope you need some sort of controler.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So I guess I am looking at $659 for the HP tuners with EIO shipped, and $317 for an LM-1. That is $976 . Is there a less expensive WBO2 or is the LM-1 the best deal going?
    Thanks.

OK, I have decided my car does not need WBO2. I am stock displacement normally aspirated. I don't even have headers yet. But buying just the base HP Tuners for $499 will open the door for headers and exhaust ;D.

You are right, you do not need the WBO2 or the EIO interface. They are VERY nice to have but there is a whole lot you can do without them. Eventually, you might want to upgrade but for starters, the base system is a good one.

Yeah, when I get the new motor and Turbo I will get the WBO2. Note that is SEVERAL years away .
