You're running the timing table that Russ provided? I took a look at it and it had a LOT of timing compared to my truck. Any knock retard with it?

I don't think I messed with it. What kind of gains did you get with yours? Do you run e85?

Note that I zeroed the AFR & Variable valve timing spark tables.

Just wanted to bump this with my findings using most of Russ' timing table. My city MPG has gone from 14.5mpg to 16+mpg and the truck requires so little throttle to get moving.

I was skeptical at first because the timing was so much compared to the stock tune, but when you factor in my truck having headers and running 92 octane fuel, it makes sense.

Great work on that timing table Russ.

    I wouldn't. Completely different engine.

I looked at his trans settings, and tried to follow some of Russ's method. Download a stock 11 5.3 file from the repository and see what he changed. For example, if he took 25% out of the 1-2 shift time, take 25% out of yours. The trans files are slightly different between the 5.3 and the 6.2, so don't just blindly paste his tables into your tune. I found it too harsh for my liking, but it was a fun experiment, and I did end up changing how I decreased my TM stuff because of it.

The 5.3's can handle more timing, so I stayed away from those tables.

You're also running a different OS. What, if any, impact that has I don't know. I haven't been able to see a 2012 6.2 file yet.

    Likely 91+.

Wouldnt be a bad idea to run atleast 89+.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
