    Cheapest, simplest, permanantly installed wideband

Looking for the minimal hardware WB o2 setup that will function with HPT. Alot of these WB's have a ton of bells and whistles, including thier own software, which is useless with HPT. I'm looking for something that will work 100% with HPT, install permanantly in the car, and cheap!

I've been looking also and I'm thinking of going with one of these. You can get them with all of the bells and whistles or just the bell without the clapper. http://www.plxdevices.com/

One thing to consider is, the wideband sensors don't seem to
have the greatest lifespan. At least, I've seen several folks
report theirs going bad and needing to replace, some after
just months of continuous service. Regardless of the head
unit, the sensor can get crusty or even crack from too much
moisture being in it when the heat comes on.

So I plug my bung and keep the sensor in a Zip-Loc bag when
    I'm not using it.

Though, for entertainment value, maybe $50 every few months
is worth it. I just got my tune set, and put the tool away.

lm1 i paid 360 shipped through summit...the LC-1 seems like it will be the option of choice as soon as it hits the shelfs :
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I was under the impression you wanted a guage too, if so I think the aem is your best bet. It has the guage with 2 harnesses coming out of it- 1 for the o2 sensor and one for power and data, no other boxes or anything else. A very simple setup. If your not worried about the guage though, Id definately go with the lc-1.

On a side note, he said permanantly mounted setup. I wouldn't classify the LM-1 as one of these types of widebands. My .02

I run the WBC and I couldn't recommend a better product. Most expensive but PACKED with more features than any competitor can shake a stick at. Seriously its worth the $$$

Theres no doubt that the wbc is an awesome unit! But with hp tuners you don't need all those features, all you need is a 5volt output. I was going to purchase the wbc myself but decided I liked AEM's guage alot better. I wasnt crazy about the analog setup on the display that the wbc has.

which one are you looking @? what you need to be looking for is the "controller" this will convert the signal from the wbO2 and then put it in a decimal AFR format ie 13.0, 14.7, 11.6 etc. I like to have a readout @ all times so i went with the m-300 for $314 shipped and couldnt be happier.

if you dont want or car about an actual display you can go with the m250 or m200. The only difference being the brand of o2 sensor that is included.

I ended up going with the LM-1 , only because when I called they were already sold out of the LC-1. The LC-1 is out already
