Boost gauge Corvette C5 with a LS2 and a YSi vortech blower

    Hi,

can anyone tell me how to setup (installation guidelines) a gauge with the boost in the HP Tunners window?
My mechanic told me that you can`t see the cells where knock retard is anymore, if the gauge for the boost is setup?

I guess this is time expired but for what it's worth:

You need a 2 bar map, the stock version only goes up to 105 KpA. You need the 2 bar map to send a signal to your computer. (Either replace the existing 1 bar map (easy on an LS2) or wire in a new 2 bar map. You will need the additional HP licence for a 2 bar set up.

Once the map signal is going to the VCU you set up the scanner to read the 2 bar MAP (one of the drop down options with the new licence) and then just log the MAP in the scanner. Set the gauge to go up to 150 KpA (unless you're running lots of boost).

I have the MAP gauge and the knock gauge side by side - enlarged. Any knock I back off.
