I have a 2000 GMC truck and would like to install a performance tune in it. I have HP Tuner with some spare credits. Is this possible with this software? If so does anyone have just a base performance tune for a stock 6.0 to improve performance?

Just a word of advice.... you can get alot of help on here...but you have to try... noone is going to just give you a tune or do one for you.
The fact that you didn't know what the software will tune (even though you claim to have it with spare credits...and the website has a page with everything supported in a list) leads me to think that you have no interest at all in learning.

Yes buddy you can tune your truck... But as posted above dont go too crazy with it cause you can mess s**t up if you don't know what you are doing.
