    VE tuning trouble

I was out all day 80 miles total. tuning using the open loop, wideband, AFR error method. I have a large area that is rich and another that is lean. No matter hom much I have changed the VE table it makes no changes in the effected areas. I even went back to closed loop and my LT/ST's are mimicing the AFR error logs. To put it into perspective I looked at the first log I made and the last. in cell # 2800rpm X 40kpa in the error histogram the first was
    -19 the last was -20.
Now in the VE table I started out the day with the value in that cell @ 60. By the end of the day it was down to 30. So I cut the value from 60 down to 30 and the air fuel error stayed the same.
Bill I dont know if this is realated to the other bug I have with the boost enrichment?

are you tuning the secondary table ? the primary isn't being used in this case.

    Thanks for the reply!
I see no secondary table just the primary? I saw the below quote in the help files. If the primary is not being used where is the secondary?

    2bar and 3bar MAP - Speed Density (GenIII V8)

This enhancement contains the following features:

2bar MAP sensor support (calibration capability for GM 0-5V linear MAP sensors)
Retains 5 kPa resolution in non-boost regions (2bar pre 04/05)
5 kPa resolution in boost regions (2bar pre 04/05)
10 kPa resolution in boost regions (2bar and 3bar post 04/05)
secondary VE table not used (if applicable)
New MAP referenced "Boost Enrich" table
    New openloop MAP threshold
Dual (High and Low Octane) Spark table support
    Speed Density mode only
VCM Scanner histogram automatically recognizes and adjusts for 2bar/3bar feature (if applicable)
New 2bar/3bar MAP PID for VCM Scanner (if applicable)

There is no secondary ve table in our SD custom operating systems.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

OK so there is no secondary VE table. Any idea what is the matter

I have a ECU that can not use the boost enrichment and making changes in the VE table does nothing

Without the .hpt & scanner log its a guessing game that I won't play.
