Switched from a high comp to 9:1 turbo setup in a gen 3 410CI.n I am using straight ethanol for fuel, 160# injectors with AEM converter box. 91 MM turbo
I have always ran SD and switched to a 3 bar map. Everything is great the car idles and runs fine in closed loop. As soon as it goes into open loop the commanded AF dropps to 6.25 and it misfires and falls on it's face.
I started out with TR7@ .028 gap. went to TR8 at .020, tried adding some gasoline to make it E85. Took the 2 step off to try it without. I have a set of TR6 to try in now gapped @.020. I seemed like it was blowing the spark out but I wonder if its flooding with the commanded AFR. the injectors spike up when it enters open loop. I will atach some logs and a tune.
