    awesome...how can we build the hardware for this?

    i mean, im trying to understand the specs of all thise....J2534 is a protocol of what? my mazdaspeed protege runs on ISO protocol...im not really sure how the J2534 comes into play...can i query more data over J2534 vs ISO/OBDII...

    just tryin to understand...thanks.

    J2534 is the spec for being able to access memory etc in the PCM regardles which flavor of OBD-II comms it uses. Theoretically, you can monitor more via J2534 than with the standard protocols over OBD-2
