On Big Power cars-is there a way to reduce power in first gear only?

I was wondering if there is a way to just reduce power in first gear only with a 4L65E trans?

I was thinking under TM rpm versus gear?

    Russ K? Anyone?

with or without drive by wire throttle?

If you download the latest BETA version, you can adjust throttle opening rate by gear. slow down the opening rate in first will increase traction

    I agree with TexSRT4,

The fastest and most effective way to gain control of power is via the throttle

No Screen Shots But It Is Easy To Use And Find. It Is Under The Engine>airflow>electronic Throttle>opening Rates

100% Disables It And Any Value Under That Is How Fast It Opens.

Keep in mind this is the opening rate, it won't act like a throttle stop.

Pretty sure it's 4th gen specific. You "may" be able to play with the "Max torque RPM VS: Gear" table under Torque Management, donno.

how about MPH per Second (rate of acceleration) below X MPH?
then another given MPH per Second (rate of acceleration) above X and below Z MPH?
Oh and make it scaled for the throttle.

This is another form of TM of ETC

There is a similar table in the A6, it does work, though tops out at 3k rpm, but it doesnt not appear to be in HPT.
