The new cars use CAN, which is a completely new protocol, so I'd be assuming that it would be quite some time before the 5 cylinders and other 2005-2006 cars would be supported.

Hey guys, Chris just posted up in the General section asking you to e-mail him the Vin numbers of vehicles that you want to see supported. It looks like they have a working version for the 4 cyl guys, and are trying to decide which vehicles to offer support to 1st. You can find the post here:

So send him an e-mail with what you got.

Are you guys able to offer ANY update on this project? Is it still going to happen? Anything? It's been pretty quiet for a while, and there's alot of people waiting on this, the missing ingredient for their projecs, so any info would be a godsend.

Waiting on release of USB hardware to begin beta. Beta will begin approx 3 weeks after new hardware begins shipping.

Any idea if there is going to be support for the 2200?? My poor Cav is really needing help. Dyno was a whooping 95WHP (it was a Chicagoland JBO get-together). It's a 2000 Cavalier LS, but I don't have the VIN on me because the car is sitting at my grandparents house for the winter (couple hours away at that).

I'd be interested in helping with Beta testing if yall want. I've got a co-worker, Al, that's a fairly knowledgeable gearhead (Keith knows him pretty well too...) who reminded me of HPTuners, I'd forgotten about yall since I haven't heard anything about the re-programmer in quite some time

Any update at all on this that I can pass along to the jbody guys?

    short update:

    - reading/flashing complete, including recovery. We sacrificed a little on the write time to ensure recovery worked without problem. Tested for all 97-04 hardware.
    - all the cavalier/sunfire is basically ready to go for beta, only a few tweaks
    - S10 should be finished very soon
    - Cobalt still in progress

i expect as soon as we start shipping the USB, beta will begin. Those who own a 97-04 cavalier/sunfire and wanna be on the beta make sure you get your hands on the MPVI interface, we are taking pre-orders already.

will the software work on j-body's that are running the GM Performance Supercharger calibration?

Any idea how different j-body interface for the 2.4L twin cam vs. the n-body 2.4L twin cam?

    Chris...
How do we go about pre-ordering the MPVI interface?

    Thank you.

choose the Std ($499) or Pro ($649), Pro gives you 4 analog inputs for things like WBO2 sensors etc. and 2 switched outputs for connecting things like LEDs, relays etc. that are controlled by the scanner. It also gives you the capability to log data without the laptop connected in future.

Good news! Does the pro allow for tuning of more than 1 car or how does that work?

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
