Sweet news. Thanks for the update Chris, keep up the good work.

That's great news! I can't wait to see what's possible once this is out.
correct me if im wrong but werent you guys asking for bata testers awhile back?
initially we had hoped (we didn't ask anyone) to start beta testing earlier this year, however, that did not eventuate due to reasons already discussed (ie. LS2 and v2.0 being the main two)

I'm putting off buying the Emanage to the last minute hoping this will come out for the ecotec instead.

lemme beta test I need something, this turbo needs some tuning
Doesn't sound like the way to go about asking.Originally Posted by IamQBE

I'd really like to buy a new supercharged Cobalt, for a DD...
I don't really care who gets a product out first but two other companies (at least) are actively developing products for the J-bodies and one has a solution available, albeit a mail order thing. And I'm just gonna get the first one out that will do what I want.
I think what most people are looking for is speed/rev limit modification, fuel/spark control, bigger cams (lift and duration), up the tranny line press. for the autos remove the EGR stuff. That is just the main points.
I think the first three engines, in no order since 99 (that is what was requested post '99) would be....well there were only 3 engines, 2.4, 2.2, and the ecotec. If you include pre-99 OBDII do the 2.4 and bump the 2.2.
I can think of 5 other n-body (same 4 cyl drivetrain) guys that I could call and would snatch this up right now. That is w/o even posting to a board.
If you are looking for volunteers/testers I would love to help or connect you with people who would/could as well, depending on what you are looking for.
good luck, hope to see something soon.
I am new here but this sound great i was going to send my ecu to canada to get it flashed but if you can do it with your software then i will buy yours it looks like it will be 100 dollars cheaper i will check back everyday!!!1
I AM THE GHOST!
I can only speak for myself, but I've given up on anything coming out here. Seems like we are getting the standard "3 months" type of response that the hand held power programmer companies have been giving us for the past 6 or 7 years.
That being said, I went and bought a MegaSquirt system.....
Now that seems like something great what is it :huh2:Originally Posted by kjohnson

fwiw, we are still very actively working on the 4 cyl vehicles and have very much of that product already implemented.
We have a few other major things to do before we release the 4cyl product publicly.
No dates at this time, I'm not even going to guess.

wow we havent heard that response in the past 1 1/2 yrs ever.
its the same thing every couple months they will say the same thing "we are still working on it but we keep puttin it aside for new things coming out" so IF and when your stuff does come out and noone buys it because they already have something, youll bitch because we bitched and now that its out we arent buying.
oh well your loss not ours
I am just giving an update, not making promises nor am I stating dates.
It's obvious the demand for this type of product is there for the 4cyl market. We will not lose sleep if a competitor releases product before us.
I'm just letting you know we have not abandoned the idea of a 4cyl product.
If you wish to be so negative about it, don't bother reading this post.

Thanks for the update Keith, waiting for a quality product is always a hard thing to do.

Rumor has it, 2.0 won't be long. When/if a 4 cyl product is released, Will the 5cyl's be applicable?
Oh yea, how is the 4cy. going?
