    My Space Bar Quit Working

In Scanner only. I can't start and stop scanning. It works fine in other programs. I'm running 2.1.18.0 on XP.

Well, the first thing you should do is try upgrading to the latest stable on the customer login page.

My mistake. I knew I had the latest, but I use my Vista laptop for the internet, and it has the old version. The computer that I scan with has 2.2.0.0.

Should uninstall and reinstall VCM Suite? Will I lose my tunes and scans?

uninstall/install won't remove anything really other than the vcm editor/scanner exe files & help file, which is replaced with new ones.

Never heard of the space bar not working so honestly im not sure
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I wonder if there is some a-hole virus. I never paid McAfee's ransom for their anti-virus program when I got my new hard drive. I only go online with it to email tunes, or here, to download updates, though. Oh, well.

I'm really not sure what it could be.

Something is preventing your VCM Scanner application from receiving the key press event for the space bar..

I noticed today that it only happens in scanner when using it for the start/stop button. When I am saving a scan, it works fine to name the scan.

Mine doesn't listen to the space bar from time to time also (to start/stop the scan). I went for about a month without it, then one day it just started working again.

The new update with .net 2.0 framework may fix the issue.

Contact support for a beta to try.

That didn't help. I'll try John D.'s method. (Wait and see.)
