bucking/surging on decel in SD mode

2004 A4 C5 tuned in SD mode. During decel coming to a stop light and such, the engine will buck and kick, getting worse the slower the car (rpms) are running. Car runs really well otherwise. Car has a 229/235 .600 114 cam, stock heads/exhaust, 2.73gears and 3200 stall converter.

This is really a Motor Tuning concern but I am trying to get some feedback quick here. Sorry for the duplicated postings.

    any thoughts?

Could be either you are running too lean or too rich on decel. Get a HPT log under decel to check your LTFTs.

Could be the torque converter clutch is still locked up while you're decellerating. Try logging the TCC Mode at different speeds and see if you feel the bucking on decel and wether or not the TCC is locked up. If it is, then you might want to raise the apply/release points for TCC.
