Kickass Z-06 Tweek tune, Thanks Keith!

Keith started me thinking after he posted his VE table the other day.

My car has LMG Longtubes with LMG X-pipe and Random Matrix cats and a Halltech TRAP set up. My low end torque was not as good as stock so I started scaling my VE table and leaning out my PE vs RPM table.(Very rich on the dyno at WOT 11.5/1 form 4000 on up.) The car feels like I it’s got another 50ftlbs now. I was at 380hp 372tq at LAPD the other day on a unplanned dyno pull. With the current tune but without a pull to prove it, I do believe that I have broken my 400rwhlhp barrier goal without any internal engine mods!

Everyone there at HP Tuners to keep up the great work! ;D

I posted the tune over with Horist if anyone that wants to give it a try.

Just a side note *: I have done extensive work on low and Mid-range torque and made huge gas mileage improvements as well. I noticed a post on timing and I am pulling around 40 degrees under light cruise and getting 28 to 32 MPG @ 80MPH freeway running.

Who ever said that you can't have it all.

What did you do with the ve table? Was it in effort of getting the ltft's in line? Also, with the timing, I assume you added a bunch more at lower load low rpm? thanks

Glad to hear the good news!!!!!

I threw my entire VE table in a stock 2002 WS6 with headers and a lid and it seemed to work VERY well.

    Keith:

I just dumped your entire VE table into my Auto 02 Z28. I changed my IFR and PE back to stock and reset the Fuel trims. I only drove for about 10 mins so I need to drive longer, but I noticed my ltfts were moving in the positive direction. They were at +6% when I turned the car off. Did that 02 WS6 report 0 to - ltfts? What was it that worked very well if you don't mind saying? My mods are headers and a lid with true duals.

Also, will this VE tuning affect line pressure at all with my auto?

Thanks so much for your help!

The car wasn't much of a race car. It was just a friend who wanted some minor tweaking done. It was around 0 but I didn't spend enough time to dial it in perfectly.

It was cleaner than his stock tune though.

Not all cars are created equal and thus need custom tuning.
