newbie questions on a 02 head and cam
Fist i would like to say their is a great deal info on this site. I have only had the software for about a week and just been playing around with stuff trying to get the idle right.
: i am running 42# injectors with a tsp 231/237 and a set of ls6 heads stage 2 with 2.06 1.7 valves and a 200 shot of juice. first off i know that the enjectors are two big right now. But with a stroker motor in the works they should be alright. i think!
Question 1: how much should i have to scale the ifr table to get them close to being right? Or should i say to start getting the ltrims negitive, i have already used the injector spreed sheetto get base # when i get home from work i will post up some more info if you guys need.
Question 2: After i get the injectors right what would be the next step?
please be patiant with me guys i am not very computer inclined. i can turn wrenches and dial in a carb but this is all new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please help me out with the menues to and the lingo
sorry for the long post but i am sorta confused.
thanks in advance.

Re: newbie questions on a 02 head and cam
I would scale the IFR, flow rating for flow rating,
as the first step and then zero the trims, let it
have its learning time and then take stock of the
situation. Changing too many things at once
can muss up your mind. The injectors are only
too big, if you are falling below the minimum
actuation pulse width for accurate fuel shot at
idle. On an A4 you may well have enough parasitic
engine load that this isn't an issue.
You need to check the ratings basis for the stock
and new injectors, make sure they are on the same
(4-bar, 5-bar) pressure differential basis. When you
have same-basis numbers then scale the IFR table
by (new/old). Like 42/28.8=1.4583, multiply by. But
check the numbers and bases carefully, don't take
my values at their word.
