    99+ 5-speed f-bodies and dynoing... (P/N limiter?)

Alright as of now we cannot raise our p/n rev limiter... I believe there is a fix by email not 100% sure... So its stuck at 4500 rpms.

    Guy with a 2k1 5-speed v6 f-body had this problem
Went to the club dyno day today. Wasn't expecting any problems, car was basically the same as when I ran it back in April.

Except the car wasn't happy. On the dyno, in any gear, the car wouldn't rev over 4500 rpm. I was acting like it was getting the fuel cut off.

We checked the parking brake, still nothing.

Car is fine on the street - right off the rollers it pulled nicely up to 6k in both first and second gears. Just like it's always done.

Aur filter is clean, fuel filter is new, and it's fine on the street, so what caused this?
    whole thread about it here...

Apparently a few people have had same issues on the dyno (little G, 2k2 5-speed, and kristen 2k1 5-speed, and this dude with a 2k1 5-speed)

    All have the same problem.

As the thread states... Little G and I think it might be related to the front wheel sensors maybe?

Since they are stationary, the command in the computer to turn the p/n limiter off is off?

because if you are driving hard coming up you can rev the car up to 6k with the clutch pedal in, to rev match a downshift no problem. So its not related to the clutch pedal.

and since the rear wheels are going on the dyno, probalby not the rear wheels.

    Any thoughts?

fwiw littleg & kristen never had this problem on a dyno
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

no i had mentioned that kristens car had major KR issues which basically stopped her car in its tracks right at 5000rpms...craig had a similar issue for whatever reason...but this was on the street. Kristen hit the dyno with my tune in it and had no problems that I know of.

I'm the poster who had the problem in cv6.com.. Still not sure what it was.

Car dynoed fine in april at the same shop. And car is fine on the street.

Once the tuning software is here, I'll start investigating.
